Ann is a Principal and Director of Sigma Consultants Ltd, Rotorua, and is responsible for the company’s planning and resource management services.
She has lived in Rotorua since 1978 and worked extensively throughout New Zealand as a planning consultant, with a particular involvement in the Bay of Plenty and Central North Island, especially Whakatāne, Ōpōtiki and Rotorua Districts.
Ann is highly experienced in all aspects of procedures under the Resource Management Act 1991. Applications for resource consent for a variety of tourism, infrastructure, educational and urban/commercial development projects, as well as notices of requirement to designate and associated processes, plan changes and variations, and submissions on proposed plans and amendments are all part of her day to day work. Consultation with iwi, specialist organisations and affected parties is a core part of these processes.
